Piet Hein.  Mathemetician, poet and freedom fighter during WWII designed the Soma cube in 1933 during a lecture on quantum mechanics conducted by Werner Heisenberg.  There are 240 distinct solutions. This beautiful example was made from solid rosewood cubes in Denmark. This particular one was produced in Denmark by Skjode of Skjern specifically for Parker Brothers. It includes the original aluminum base, box and booklet. Very good vintage condition.
